Frequently asked Questions

What kind of projects do you support?

Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is committed to bridging gaps, alleviating suffering, and creating lasting change in vulnerable communities across Nigeria. Our work spans critical areas such as health, nutrition, water and sanitation (WASH), food security, gender-based violence (GBV) protection, education, climate change, and disaster response. We implement impactful projects, including the provision of essential health services to vulnerable individuals, food assistance for displaced persons, nutrition programs for malnourished children, and advocacy initiatives for women’s empowerment and people with disabilities (PWDs).

You can support AHSF by volunteering, donating, partnering, or advocating for our causes. Whether you assist in field projects, contribute resources, or help raise awareness, your support fuels our mission to uplift lives. Training is provided to ensure they align with our mission and best practices.

Every donation directly funds health programs, food distribution, clean water initiatives, and support for women, children, displaced persons, and people with disabilities (PWDs). We uphold strict financial transparency to ensure maximum impact in the communities we serve.

Our work has provided food security for thousands, improved access to healthcare, clean water, and education, and empowered women and girls through advocacy. We’ve helped reduce malnutrition in over 40,000 children and expanded psychosocial support for survivors of violence, ensuring safer, healthier communities.

AHSF offers diverse opportunities in health outreach, food distribution, education, advocacy, and administrative support. Whether on the ground or remotely, volunteers play a crucial role in delivering aid and awareness. We equip volunteers with essential training in humanitarian response, healthcare, gender-based violence support, and WASH initiatives, ensuring they are well-prepared to make a meaningful impact.

Our projects impact communities in Borno, Sokoto, Katsina, Zamfara, Yobe, Kogi, and Oyo States, addressing urgent humanitarian and development needs.

We maintain strict accountability through auditing, reporting, and partnerships with trusted organizations like UNICEF, NHF, WFP, UNFPA, and WHO to ensure responsible fund management.
